Job summary

Revance Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor to lead daily laboratory operations, oversee analytical testing, and ensure cGMP compliance for raw materials through finished products.

This onsite role in Johnson City, TN partners with QA, Manufacturing, R&D and Supply Chain to drive method readiness, investigations, CAPA, and continuous improvement while mentoring QC staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
• Typically 7+ years in a cGMP/GLP laboratory, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge of cGMP, GLP, FDA 21 CFR Part 211, USP/EP/JP, ICH Q2(R2), ALCOA+ data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop QC lab personnel with priorities and performance reviews.
• Direct routine and non-routine testing of materials and finished products per procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure data integrity and compliant records across laboratory systems.
• Provide technical oversight for HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, ICP-MS, and related instrumentation.
• Review and approve lab data, notebooks, and COAs; ensure CAPA closure for deviations and OOS/OOT investigations.
• Plan method development, transfer, validation, and lifecycle management per USP/EP/JP and FDA expectations.
• Maintain instrument readiness and calibration through maintenance and upgrades.
• Collaborate with QA, Manufacturing, R&D, and Supply Chain to resolve product-quality issues.
