Job summary

Revance Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Chemist II to independently perform advanced analytical testing supporting raw materials, in-process, stability, and finished product release.

You will apply chromatography and instrumental analysis with cGMP compliance, ensuring data integrity and traceability. The role collaborates with Manufacturing, QA, Supply Chain, R&D, and Validation to drive batch disposition, investigate anomalies, and support method verification/validation

Qualifications

• Follow written procedures accurately and maintain high-quality documentation.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements (ICH, CFR, FDA guidance).
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform routine and nonroutine testing using validated methods per cGMP/USP/EP.
• Prepare reagents, standards, and samples with precise documentation.
• Operate and troubleshoot HPLC, GC, UV-Vis, FTIR, and other systems with minimal supervision.
• Document analytical data in notebooks and LIMS following ALCOA+ data integrity.
• Assist in investigations including OOS/OOT and CAPA implementation.
• Support method verification/validation and qualification of analytical systems.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve analytical issues and support batch disposition.
