Job summary

Avantor is seeking a QC Lab Analyst for our Paris, KY facility. You will test raw materials and finished products in a state-of-the-art Quality Control laboratory, working onsite on a Mon-Fri 3:00pm–11:30pm shift.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a science field and 1–3 years of lab experience, with preference for wet chemistry and LIMS experience. MS Office proficiency and strong teamwork are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a science discipline with knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, or Microbiology.
• 1-3 years of laboratory experience preferred.
• LIMS and Microsoft Office experience preferred.
• Wet chemistry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine chemistry and microbiological analysis of raw materials, in-process formulations and final products to established specifications.
• Operate laboratory equipment such as pH, conductivity, UV, KF, FTIR and titrations per procedures.
• Follow quality control test methods and EXCIPACT standards and ensure data integrity.
• Enter final results and raw data into LIMS and review data for accuracy.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment and assist with investigations when needed.
