Job summary

Dessert Holdings is seeking a QA Supervisor for the 2nd shift (starting at 4:00 p.m.) in Le Center, MN. You will supervise QA Technicians on the production floor and lead quality initiatives to ensure food safety and quality across our dessert brands.

You will apply SQF, HACCP and GMP knowledge to support audits, collaborate with Operations, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining safety and efficiency on the line.

Qualifications

• BS degree or equivalent experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends as necessary.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Maintains good housekeeping and clean work areas.
• Follows GMPs and dress code standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily QA Technician activities and coach the QA team.
• Provide guidance on quality and food safety to Operations and QA teams.
• Communicate QA issues and production schedule with FSQA Technicians.
• Maintain QC/lab supply inventory and coordinate training.
• Review daily operational paperwork.
• Support audits and inspections and address deficiencies.
• Assist with formula changes and product issues with Production leaders.
• Oversee hold, trace and recall activities and summarize Hold reports.
• Cover QA Manager duties when absent.
• Adhere to GMPs and company policies.
