Job summary

Southern States LLC is seeking a QA/Engineering Tech - DAD to inspect returned products and defective units across production stages, helping identify ways to improve quality. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of related experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Access.
• Physically capable of performing duties.
• Comfortable speaking in front of groups.

Responsibilities

• Keep track of failed units from production and from the field.
• Inspect and repair failed units in a timely manner.
• Understand wiring schematics and test procedures to provide basic troubleshooting for production issues.
• Maintain organization of the NCR/CSR area and ensure there is no overflow.
• Assist engineering in root cause analysis by setting up and inspecting returned material.
• Assist the production and sales teams in the facility as needed.
• Operate the gantry, hand trucks, and hand tools to carry out duties.
• Assist Engineering in testing new products and troubleshooting existing products.
• Suggest steps to prevent issues uncovered in repair and testing.
• Perform production testing on repaired units and warranty replacements prior to shipment to customers.
