Job summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Test Technician to join our team in North Atlanta, GA. You will perform testing, inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and integration of electrical and mechanical components used in highly regulated industrial applications.

Read engineering drawings, set up test equipment, document results, and support quality personnel by communicating findings and resolving issues.

Qualifications

Associate degree or technical diploma in Electronics, Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
2+ years of experience testing electrical and mechanical components or assemblies.
Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation.
Experience using electrical test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.
Experience with panel wiring and mechanical assembly is a plus.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical and mechanical testing of components and assemblies using calibrated test equipment.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, manuals, and test procedures.
Set up test equipment, execute testing, and document results.
Troubleshoot, repair, and rework electrical and mechanical assemblies as needed.
Assemble and integrate electrical panels and components per drawings.
Review test data to ensure quality and acceptance criteria.
Create and document non-conformance reports when required.
Support engineers and QA personnel by communicating findings and resolving issues.
Maintain an organized laboratory and warehouse environment, including inventory and traceability.
Perform inspections and testing at customer and vendor sites as needed.
Assist with calibration, preventive maintenance, packaging, shipping, and training of new technicians.
