Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's student in CS/SE/EE or related field.
• Strong Python fundamentals with type hints and exception handling.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL, including schema design.
• Understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, JSON, and API specs.
• Git, unit testing, and technical documentation experience.
• Proficiency in English.
• Legally allowed to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain REST API endpoints for a cloud-based energy platform using Python.
• Integrate with third-party REST APIs with auth, retries, and error handling.
• Write and expand automated unit and integration tests.
• Keep OpenAPI specs and documentation in sync with implementation.
• Implement database schema changes and migrations under guidance.
• Participate in code reviews and team discussions on design and implementation.
