Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of purchasing experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP systems, JD Edwards preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to establish priorities and work effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Analyze market to assess material availability and cost strategies.
• Locate vendors and determine terms of sale.
• Process requisitions and purchase orders for materials and services.
• Coordinate with operations and accounts payable to ensure efficient procurement-to-payment.
