Job summary

The State of Indiana is hiring for a Property Operations Manager within the Department of Natural Resources. The role oversees daily operations of a large state property, coordinating with the property manager and supervising maintenance, construction, and repairs.

You will manage budgeting, contractor coordination, and public use activities while ensuring safety and compliance, and you may be required to live onsite when housing is available.

Qualifications

• Willing to travel with reasonable accommodation.
• Must live onsite when housing is available.
• On‑call 24 hours a day.
• Strong knowledge of resource management practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations of a mid to large DNR property.
• Directs and monitors maintenance, construction projects, and repairs.
• Supervises use of in‑house and contract labor for projects.
• Assists with budgeting and revenue oversight for the property.
