Job summary

Asset Living in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Community Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a housing community. You will supervise on-site staff, manage leasing, maintenance, and financial activities, and ensure compliance with safety and fair housing guidelines.

As the on-site leader, you will develop yearly budgets, monitor rent collections, coordinate vendor services, and implement resident retention programs while delivering exceptional customer service and timely reports.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred or four years’ housing industry experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operations of a housing community on-site.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop on-site staff.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts and monitor finances.
• Lead leasing, marketing strategies, and resident relations.
• Ensure policy compliance, safety, and fair housing guidelines.
• Coordinate maintenance, vendor management, and emergency response.
