Job summary

Nedde Real Estate is seeking a skilled Residential & Commercial Property Maintenance Technician to manage daily upkeep of apartment communities and office spaces in the greater Burlington area. The role requires living on-site at Woodline Apts in Winooski, with night and weekend hours as needed.

You will handle plumbing, electrical, drywall, carpentry, and HVAC tasks, while documenting work orders on a mobile device and coordinating with external contractors. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in residential apartment or commercial maintenance.
• Strong working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical diagnostics, drywall, carpentry, and HVAC troubleshooting.
• Professional demeanor when entering occupied homes and handling repairs.
• Ability to document work orders and update systems using mobile devices.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between properties.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day upkeep of residential and commercial properties.
• Respond to resident service requests and perform in-unit repairs.
• Coordinate unit turnovers to rent-ready status with patching, painting, and repairs.
• Monitor and maintain parking garage facilities, including safety signage and lighting.
• Serve as on-site contact for third-party contractors; escort specialists as needed.
• Join on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies and winter maintenance tasks.
