Job summary

GrayMatter is seeking a Project Manager to join our Sewickley, PA-based team on-site. You will lead all facets of project management for GrayMatter Services, acting as the main client contact, managing budgets, schedules, resources, and change orders to ensure successful project delivery within margin targets.

Requirements include a bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, 5+ years in project management, and experience with automation/ MES, SCADA, instrumentation, controls, HMI and PLC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in project management.
• Experience managing automation/control system projects.
• Strong knowledge with estimating systems and MS Project/GANTT charts.
• Experience with industrial automation projects and MES services.
• Experience with SCADA, Instrumentation, Controls, HMI and PLC projects.
• PMI training, PMP Certification.
• Excellent customer service attitude, attention to detail, high level of organizational skills, and excellent communication skills.

• Ability to multi-task and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Manage project execution in line with scope.
• Serve as primary client contact and manage scope expectations.
• Prepare and manage project schedules, budgets and change orders.
• Forecast financial and resource needs.
• Enter and review data in project management system including budget reviews and timecards.
• Collaborate with project leads to breakdown tasks for successful execution.
• Travel as needed per client requirements.
