Job summary

Hill International, Inc. seeks a Project Engineer to support transportation/infrastructure projects in Northern Ohio. The role requires full-time on-site work and involves document control, cost editing, and coordinating progress meetings.

Responsibilities include tracking RFIs, submittals, and change orders; coordinating with clients and on-site teams; and performing site observations with daily reporting to ensure project goals are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management.
• 3-5 years of experience on large-scale construction projects preferred.
• ODOT prequalification or ability to quickly become prequalified preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee document control for correspondence, shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, etc.
• Review submissions and evaluate RFIs for cost impacts
• Coordinate and assist in regular progress meetings and special meetings
• Record, document and issue meeting minutes
• Assist in the coordination and preparation of agendas
• Review cost estimates and coordinate value engineering submissions
• Coordinate with client for resolution of community issues
• Provide project controls support and on-site progress feedback
• Perform site observations and assemble daily reports
