Job summary

The Breeden Company is seeking a Project Engineer in Richmond, VA to serve as the field representative for on-site project administration, coordinating schedules, materials, and safety.

You will report to the Lead Superintendent, manage daily field activities, prepare takeoffs, track progress, and maintain project records, with travel to sites and a salary range of $60,000 to $70,000 per year.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of multi-family field management experience.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret design documents and blueprints.
• Experience with Microsoft Project schedules.
• Strong Excel, Word and Outlook skills.
• Detail- and deadline-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site project administration and progress scheduling.
• Coordinate material deliveries with subs and internal resources.
• Prepare material takeoffs and manage material control.
• Document daily field activities and safety.
• Maintain project records and change directives.
• Support warranty service and project closeout.
