Job summary

Belcan is seeking a Project Engineer in Windsor, CT to process engineering changes, plan milestones, maintain schedules, and host customer meetings.

You will resolve scheduling issues, coordinate with engineering and manufacturing teams, and drive action items from design reviews; strong Excel skills and the ability to work independently or in a team are required. US citizenship is required for this role.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering or related discipline; manufacturing/project experience acceptable.
• 1+ years in manufacturing engineering, project engineering, or industrial engineering; internships count.
• Strong self-management; able to work both independently and in a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; outgoing personality.
• Proficient in Excel.
• US Citizenship required due to job requirements.

Responsibilities

• Process Class 2 Engineering Changes through the EC process with PW design engineering.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Manufacturing to plan milestones and timeframes.
• Evaluate EC status and propose action plans like schedule revisions.
• Attend customer meetings and lead project portions.
• Resolve overdue corrective action milestones.
• Act as manufacturing liaison for the engineering team.
• Participate in reviews and complete assigned action items.
• Attend design reviews and drive actions for manufacturing non-conformance dispositions.
• Host meetings to drive communication/approvals for ECs.
