Job summary

Walbridge is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Operations Team, working on Data Center, Vehicle Manufacturing or General Build Construction projects. You will plan, coordinate, and manage onsite construction engineering activities and support planning, design interpretation, constructability reviews, and shop drawing processing.

You will develop and administer project engineering procedures, manage resources and subcontractors, support risk management, and participate in project meetings.

Qualifications

• 4-year engineering degree or equivalent technical training and related experience.
• Minimum of 3 years similar construction engineering experience.
• Advanced knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes, standards, etc.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Project Execution: Ensure project engineering activities comply with company and contract requirements and support overall construction schedule.
• Resource Management: Manage project engineering and related personnel functions and activities, including subcontractor planning.
• Risk Management: Represent company, project and/or department during meetings.
• Technical Support: Key technical person on projects; may be responsible for one or more small to medium sized project.
• Develop, implement and administer project engineering procedures and other work controlling documents.
