Innova Solutions is hiring a Project Engineer for Construction & Manufacturing in Clifton, NJ. This is a 12-month contract role (possible contract-to-hire) with onsite first shift.

The engineer will manage day-to-day tactical duties, coordinate cost/schedule/technical aspects, and serve as the main liaison between PM, planning, and line management. Ideal candidates are subject-matter experts in project management, capable of handling large, complex initiatives with minimal oversight, and

Qualifications

• Subject matter expert with comprehensive knowledge of project management.
• Manages large, complex project initiatives with minimal oversight.
• Communicates across the organization to explain and influence changes to practices, processes and approaches.
• Implements improvements in processes, systems or products.
• Experience with development, maintenance, and production of large-scale Electronic Warfare systems or related technologies.
• Knowledge of lifecycle models including Waterfall and Agile.
• Active Secret Clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day tactical duties for assigned programs.
• Oversees cost/schedule/technical aspects within program guidelines.
• Serves as single point-of-contact between PM, planning, project team, and line management.
• Reviews project status, budgets, and schedules; prepares status reports.
• Assesses issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals.
• Develops mechanisms for monitoring progress and for intervention and problem solving.
• Coordinates between resource managers/supervisors and ensures reviews/approvals are completed. May conduct performance analyses during phase-down.
