Job summary

Hoffman Construction Co of America seeks an Electrical Manager to lead the MEP department's electrical activities on a Boise, ID project. You will oversee preconstruction through closeout, interface with clients and design teams, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with high safety and quality standards.

This onsite role offers a salary range of $115,000 to $160,000 plus incentives, with a focus on leadership, collaboration, and delivering complex electrical systems.

• Effectively manage multiple priorities in high-pressure project environments.
• Provide clear direction, accountability, and performance expectations to project staff.
• Handle conversations and personnel challenges professionally.
• Lead all phases from preconstruction through closeout.
• Drive project performance within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Coordinate with client reps, design consultants, and trade partners; assist with budget development.
• Oversee subcontractor buyout, contracts, and modifications.
• Engage with developers, owners, architects, subconsultants and subcontractors for business development.
• Promote transparent, solution-oriented communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of electrical management in construction.
• Interface between Hoffman, client, design consultants, and trade partners.
• Ensure project delivered on time, within budget, and to safety/quality standards.
• Lead preconstruction planning, procurement, scheduling, cost control, QA.
