Jacobs is seeking a Junior Quantity and Progress Tracking Project Controls Professional to support ongoing site-based work in Spartanburg, SC or Baton Rouge, LA, with future on-site duties across the U.S. The role centers on accurate progress tracking, quantities installed reporting, and collaboration with construction teams and vendors to drive successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in project controls or construction progress tracking.
• Experience tracking installed quantities and physical progress on large projects.
• Understanding of earned value management principles and progress measurement.
• Ability to analyze planned vs. actual progress and identify variances.
• Experience supporting weekly and monthly project reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the project quantity database.
• Track quantity growth, scope changes, and quantity trends.
• Establish and maintain progress measurement procedures and weighting.
• Define measurable progress quantities and percent-complete criteria for Construction.
• Collect, validate, and track installed quantities to measure progress.
• Review contractor-reported progress against field conditions and quantities.
• Conduct field walkdowns to validate progress and installed work.
• Calculate earned quantities and percent complete for reporting.
• Monitor planned vs. actual quantities, progress performance, and productivity trends.
• Track completed quantities against invoices and support progress payments.
• Maintain progress reporting tools, databases, Power BI dashboards, and reporting systems.
