Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Junior Quantity and Progress Tracking Project Controls Professional for site-based work in Spartanburg, SC or Baton Rouge, LA with future U.S. projects on-site.

You will join a dedicated project controls team to ensure accurate progress tracking and quantities installed reporting throughout the project lifecycle, collaborating with construction teams and vendors to drive measurable progress.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in project controls or construction progress tracking.
• Experience on large industrial, infra, manufacturing, energy or mission-critical projects.
• Knowledge of sequencing, installation methods, and field execution.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the project quantity database.
• Track quantity growth and progress through the project lifecycle.
• Establish progress measurement procedures and weighting methodologies.
• Define measurable progress quantities and percent-complete criteria.
• Validate contractor-reported progress against field conditions.
• Support field walkdowns to validate progress and installed work.
• Calculate earned quantities and percent complete for reports.
• Monitor planned vs. actual quantities and productivity trends.
• Support progress payments validation with invoices.
• Maintain progress reporting tools, databases, and Power BI dashboards.
