Job summary

Rosendin Electric in the United States is seeking a Project Accountant to support onsite project accounting and provide financial services to the project team, including contract review, billings, WIP reporting, and subcontractor payments.

The role is a liaison to Project Managers, based in the main office or on a construction site, requiring strong organization, accuracy and the ability to manage multiple priorities under time pressure.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Business Suite or other Enterprise level Finance package preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); Oracle preferred.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks; adapt to changing requirements.
• Effective oral and written communication skills for the position.
• Self-motivated, proactive and a collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly progress billings and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• Review budgets and changes to reflect approved change orders.
• Maintain productivity rate tracking and distribute weekly.
• Prepare cash position/projection analysis for projects.
• Audit project billings to ensure costs are submitted for payment.
• Post subcontractor progress billings in accounting software and assist approvals.
• Support operations with monthly cost at completion estimates and reviews.
