Job summary

Cottonwood Residential is seeking a temporary Project Access Assistant for Alpha Mill Apartments in Charlotte, NC. The role supports a short-term network installation project, coordinating vendor access and monitoring daily progress on-site.

The position requires strong organization, clear communication, and a customer-service mindset. It is a temporary assignment (1–7 weeks) with a start target of September 14, 2026, working Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, at the Alpha Mill community.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer service attitude and ability to positively interact with others.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently under minimal supervision.
• Bilingual English/Spanish speaking skills are a plus!
• Basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide vendors with access to apartment homes and community facilities as they install network infrastructure.
• Walk units and common areas throughout the day to monitor vendor progress.
• Ensure vendor work is being carried out according to expectations and report any issues or delays.
• Serve as an on-site liaison between vendors and the IT Manager.
• Document daily activities, progress updates, and potential concerns in a daily recap report.
• Communicate promptly with the IT Manager regarding any issues, delays, or resident-related matters.
• Maintain professionalism and represent the company positively while interacting with residents, staff, and vendors.
