Job summary

Cottonwood Residential is seeking a reliable Project Access Assistant to support a temporary network installation at our Charlotte-area apartment communities. The role ensures smooth vendor access, monitors progress, and communicates issues promptly to management to keep the project on schedule.

You will walk units and common areas, verify work being performed, and serve as the on-site liaison between vendors and the IT Manager. Daily recap reports and professional communication are required.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to walk units, stairs, and community grounds frequently throughout the day.
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer service attitude and ability to positively interact with others.
• Basic computer skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently under minimal supervision.
• Bilingual English/Spanish speaking skills are a plus!

Responsibilities

• Provide vendors with access to apartment homes and community facilities as they install network infrastructure.
• Walk units and common areas throughout the day to monitor vendor progress.
• Ensure vendor work is being carried out according to expectations and report any issues or delays.
• Serve as an on-site liaison between vendors and the IT Manager.
• Document daily activities, progress updates, and potential concerns in a daily recap report.
• Communicate promptly with the IT Manager regarding any issues, delays, or resident-related matters.
• Maintain professionalism and represent the company positively while interactingwith residents, staff, and vendors.
