Job summary

River Oaks Hospital in Harahan, LA seeks a Program Director for Eating Disorders and Trauma to lead the department and ensure top clinical performance. The role oversees treatment programs, marketing collaboration, and program development in line with River Oaks' mission.

You will supervise trauma therapy staff, coordinate schedules, manage referrals, and contribute to workshops and treatment planning, with a focus on trauma, compulsive behaviors, and eating disorders.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling with specialization in mental health.
• Licensed (LPC, LCSW) by a Louisiana board.
• CEDS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises trauma therapy staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Manages unit scheduling and clinical standards.
• Coordinates referrals and marketing collaboration with Business Development.
• Oversees treatment team meetings and discharge planning.
• Conducts individual, family, and group psychotherapy.
• Contributes to workshops and clinical papers as needed.
