Job summary

RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, seeks a Program Chief Engineer for airborne processing systems within the Global Airforce Program directorate. The role oversees technical baseline, cost, schedule, and technical execution across the program lifecycle.

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, interface with customers and leadership, and travel up to 10%. U.S. citizenship and security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Airborne Electronics design, integration and test, flight qualification, deployment, and production.
• Active Secret security clearance after day 1; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Establish technical baselines, roadmap development, customer engagement, product family development, product line vision, strategy & goals, and proposal development across the product line.
• Manage program lifecycles including Production and Field Support, EMD, Technology Transition, and internal investment efforts.
• Serve as primary technical contact for Customer's Engineering/Technical counterparts, responding to inquiries and balancing scope to mitigate risk.
• Engage with Global Airforce Program Area leadership to provide technical recommendations on future system strategy and sustainment.
• Review and approve cost, schedule, and budget information for EACs and proposals at the program level.
• Lead across a highly multi-disciplinary role, involving design engineering, technical supplier management, business development, and program leadership.
• Travel approximately 10% of the time.
