Job summary

Alfa Laval is seeking an Unit Manager for Production in Broken Arrow, OK, to lead a 170+ person team and drive improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost. You will support the Factory Manager with strategic projects and ensure standardized work and SOP adherence across the unit.

You will develop budgets, manage staffing, and promote Lean Six Sigma, 5S, and digitalization to meet current and future customer demands while upholding Alfa Laval values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing setting with oversight of a large workforce
• Lean Manufacturing experience preferred
• Experience with manufacturing MRP/ERP systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)
• Be a result-driven leader who is present in the organization
• Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to adjust style to colleagues

Responsibilities

• Lead a production team of 170+ to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals
• Create budgets/forecasts for Production and monitor monthly
• Drive personnel development and succession planning
• Ensure standardized work and SOP adherence
• Support problem solving and continuous improvement activities
• Be present on the shop floor to understand real issues and drive improvements
• Participate in operational planning and capital investment prioritization
• Collaborate with EHS, Quality, and other departments to meet targets and ALPS expectations
