Job summary

Ball Corporation in Pittston, PA is seeking a Production Technician to join a on-site manufacturing team. You will be part of a production crew reporting to a supervisor and will observe SOPs to support plant goals while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include operating and calibrating high-speed equipment, performing preventive maintenance, inspecting aluminum parts for quality, and collaborating with teammates to meet production targets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent education.
• 1-year minimum experience in a mechanical job-related field with demonstrated mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Follow all 5S standards and job safety practices and policies including but not limited to food safety; personal protective equipment; emergency procedures, etc.
• Operate, adjust, and repair high-speed production equipment to meet plant production goals.
• Assist with performing preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Inspect aluminium for proper quality standards and customer specifications.
• Build positive relationships across designated team by effectively collaborating, communicating, and upholding ethical integrity.
