Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services is seeking a dependable Production Technician for a contract role in Wyandotte, MI. The position involves operating and maintaining production equipment, moving materials, and changing over lines while following safety and quality standards.

The role is 100% onsite with rotating 12-hour shifts, including day and night blocks. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in production, basic math, and strong teamwork and reliability to support a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of production or manufacturing experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and stand/sit as required.
• Basic math and measurement skills; comfortable using rulers/gauges.
• Able to read and follow standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, start up, shut down and maintain production equipment.
• Perform equipment and product changeovers with safety and quality in mind.
• Move materials from inspection and assembly lines to staging areas.
• Use tools, pallet jacks, and HMI systems to support operations.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine safety checks.
• Maintain clean, organized and safe work area.
