Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician for a temp-to-hire role in Seattle, WA, supporting a fast-paced manufacturing operation. You will troubleshoot equipment, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and help keep production safe and efficient.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on problem solving, strong electrical and mechanical skills, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial, manufacturing, production, facility, or equipment maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read schematics, manuals, diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing, production, and facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment issues.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns, identify root causes, and complete repairs to reduce downtime.
• Inspect, repair, and replace motors, bearings, belts, sensors, switches, pumps, conveyors, and related components.
• Read manuals and interpret schematics to support accurate repairs.
• Document maintenance activities, parts usage, inspections, and work orders in a CMMS.
