Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a Production Supervisor in Conyers, GA to lead hourly production teams, uphold safety and quality, and drive continuous improvement. You will manage daily work, schedule, and inventory while coordinating with supply chain and quality teams to meet targets.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in leadership within manufacturing, with strong communication and people skills. Extended hours may be required to meet deadlines and production needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a leadership position.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to team leads and front-line hourly production team members; ensure a safe work environment, define expectations, provide resources, coach/teach/train associates, ensure accountability, and provide feedback.
• Develop, implement, and audit daily standard work.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement; conduct root cause analysis and develop/implement corrective action plans.
• Maintain production schedule, meeting both quality and productivity requirements.
• Maintain good inventory control procedures for all raw material that may be required in assignment department(s).
• Partner with supply chain, quality, shipping, and other departments to ensure the team meets production targets safely, on time, and to established quality standards.
