Qualifications

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proactive in identifying scheduling conflicts and solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
  • 3–5 years of scheduling or fabrication-support experience preferred.
  • NetSuite ERP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain production schedules based on order priorities, capacity, and delivery deadlines.
  • Partner with Sales to review orders and confirm realistic completion dates.
  • Schedule work orders across welding and fabrication operations.
  • Update scheduling tools for clear production visibility.
  • Prepare and release job packets for production employees.
  • Distribute project files to support shop drawings.
  • Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and resources for efficient workflow.
  • Track progress and revise schedules as priorities or capacity change.
  • Identify constraints and communicate solutions to leadership.
  • Maintain accurate production, scheduling, and inventory data in systems.
  • Provide timely updates on order status, delays, and issues.
  • Collaborate across departments to support safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery.
