Zusammenfassung

RTCA is seeking a Planning Lead to own and optimize production schedules at our Chatsworth, CA site. You will manage multi‑center schedules, resolve constraints, and mentor the Planning Associate team, ensuring on‑time delivery and efficient resource use.

Reporting to the Master Scheduler, you will translate the MPS into site priorities, coordinate across machining, quality, purchasing, shipping and engineering, and drive continuous improvement through data‑driven metrics.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or production control.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems to manage schedules and data.
• Strong Excel and Office proficiency for planning metrics.
• Excellent organizational and cross‑functional communication skills.
• Experience mentoring or leading planning staff.

• Own and manage production schedules across multiple work centers.
• Escalate conflicts and drive recovery plans.
• Translate MPS into site-level priorities with Master Scheduler.
• Coordinate daily/weekly production priorities across departments.
• Develop and report planning metrics.
• Lead onboarding and training for Planning Associates.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce lead time.
• Ensure ERP/MRP data accuracy.
• Represent Planning in cross-functional meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
