Job summary

West Pak Avocado, Inc. in Swedesboro, NJ seeks a New Jersey Production Facility Manager to lead Production, Shipping & Receiving, Bagging, and Ripening, and to act as the on-site partner to the Regional Plant Manager.

This full-time, exempt, onsite position is based in Swedesboro and reports to the Regional Plant Manager, overseeing staffing, budgeting, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in business preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in a management or supervisory role at a production, packing, or distribution facility.
• Fresh produce, perishables, or food manufacturing experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead production, shipping, receiving, bagging, and ripening operations.
• Oversee staffing decisions and daily operations.
• Partner with Regional Plant Manager on strategic priorities.
• Ensure safety, quality, and cost efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement and waste reduction.
