Job summary

Pero Family Farms seeks an AM Production Assistant Supervisor to support the Production Supervisor in Delray Beach, FL. The role emphasizes on-time start, day shift, and hands-on floor leadership to ensure efficient, high-quality handling of fresh produce.

You will monitor line productivity, enforce HACCP/GMP standards, coach staff, and help drive continuous improvement while maintaining safety and sanitation. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in fresh food or production environment.
• Must have working knowledge of English language.
• Must have own transportation.
• Basic mathematical abilities.
• Ability to interact across departments.
• Ability to train/enforce staff on safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead duties as assigned by Supervisor; oversee production duties.
• Perform supervisory duties in the absence of the Supervisor.
• Meet and maintain objectives for productivity, safety, quality, sanitation and yield.
• Maintain high morale in the production area and treat employees with respect.
• Support line productivity and ensure adherence to HACCP and GMP requirements.
