Job summary

Stryker in San Jose, CA seeks a Production Supervisor to lead a 20-person team across repair, shipping and inspection. You will set a clear vision aligned with company goals, coach, train and develop staff, and ensure safety and quality standards are met onsite at the San Jose site.

Bachelor's degree required.
4 years related or industry experience required.

Responsibilities

Forecast staffing needs to meet peak demands; train, motivate, coach, reward, and discipline team members.
Establish and maintain department standards for productivity, reliability, safety, and accuracy.
Monitor and report daily production results, material usage, waste, and downtime.
Coordinate with quality control to maintain quality standards and take corrective measures.
Manage vacation approvals, timecards, overtime, hiring, and training.
Assist with development and implementation of policies and procedures; ensure adherence.
Maintain working knowledge of all operating systems pertaining to the work area.
Occasional exposure to Salesforce support.
