Materion Corporation seeks a hands-on Supply Chain Planner to develop and execute demand, production and inventory plans. You will collaborate with Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Customer Service and External Vendors to meet sales and service objectives.

The role is fully on-site at our Elmore, OH facility, requiring strong planning and ERP/SAP experience and a proven ability to coordinate across multiple functions to optimize production and delivery

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management preferred; 1+ year planning/scheduling experience in a manufacturing setting with ERP.
• Minimum 5 years manufacturing experience in the specialty metals sector; direct SAP experience may substitute for a degree.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Excel and SAP preferred.

Mansioni

• Establish production and inventory plans balancing resources to meet customer requirements.
• Monitor inventories, movements, storage and accuracy.
• Maintain new sales and transport demand to ensure achievable due dates.
• Monitor and maintain production orders and firm requirements from creation to completion.
• Manage WIP and scrap with outside vendors to meet priorities.
• Monitor backorders daily and take corrective actions to resolve them.
• Review loading vs capacity with manufacturing to address overloads.
