Job summary

DSHS is seeking a Procurement & Supply Specialist 2 to manage on-site procurement and dietary warehouse operations at Fircrest RHC in Shoreline, WA. You will handle purchasing, receiving, stocking, and distribution, maintaining accurate records to support residents and staff.

Four+ years of purchasing experience and a relevant degree are required; associate degree with two years' purchasing experience is acceptable. This role emphasizes reliability, attention to detail, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of experience as a purchasing professional.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, procurement, logistics, supply management or closely allied field.
• Associate degree with two years of purchasing experience acceptable per alternate paths.

Responsibilities

• Performs procurement, warehousing, and distribution functions of consumable dietary products and supplies.
• Receive deliveries, verify quantity and quality, and coordinate distribution across the facility.
• Complete cycle counts and other inventory activities.
• Communicate with vendors and staff to resolve issues with orders or deliveries.
• Maintain purchasing records, input receipts, and forward docs for payments.
• Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and safely stocked.
• Provide excellent customer service to staff and residents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
