Creative Solutions Services, LLC is seeking a Material Planner 2 in Vacaville for a 12-month contract onsite. The role blends procurement with analytics, focusing on supplier management, procurement execution, and data-driven supply chain optimization.

The ideal candidate will own external supplier relationships, convert requirements into purchase orders, and build dashboards to monitor on-time delivery, inventory levels, and risk, partnering with manufacturing and quality teams.

Qualifications

ERP experience with Oracle or NetSuite preferred over SAP.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong Power BI skills for analytics and dashboards.
Procurement experience focused on supplier-facing management.

Responsibilities

Convert MRP/MPS requirements into purchase requisitions and purchase orders; manage external suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Serve as the primary contact for external vendors; resolve supply chain issues, expediting orders, and managing delivery performance.
Leverage data tools to analyze supply chain metrics; design, build, and maintain dashboards to track on-time delivery, supplier reliability, and inventory levels.
Monitor inventory levels; identify shortages, excess stock, and supplier risks; implement swift corrective actions.
Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, R&D, and Finance to ensure material readiness for production and New Product Introductions (NPI).
