Job summary

DP World is seeking a Process Engineer in Fairburn, GA, to improve performance and efficiency through Lean methods and engineering studies. You will partner with Operations, Facilities and Management to implement scalable improvements and cost-saving initiatives.

The role focuses on capacity planning, process redesign, and capital equipment decisions within an onsite facility, driving standardization and waste reduction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or Operations Research or related field.
• Experience in logistics/warehousing facility environments and warehousing contracts.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills with Lean exposure.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel with pivot tables, Access, Word, Visio) and project tools.
• Hands-on experience with WMS, TMS, OMS and SCM systems.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Lean standards for line balancing, PFEP, value stream mapping and FMEA.
• Provide leadership for continuous improvement at the plant level with standards and layouts.
• Develop headcount analysis tools and report impacts to Ops, IT and BPI teams.
• Prepare engineering studies to reflect changes in operations and strategy.
• Measure standard time to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
• Serve as main contact for capacity, process improvement and time standards.
