SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital – St. Charles is seeking a Pharmacist to provide pharmaceutical care in a fast-paced, on-site setting. This PRN role supports dispensing verification, patient counseling, and collaboration with pharmacy technicians and residents.

Education requires a Pharm.D. or Bachelor of Pharmacy with active pharmacist licensure in Missouri (and other states as applicable). The position involves supervising staff, precepting students, and ensuring safe, cost-effective

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree from an accredited school of pharmacy (Pharm.D or B.Pharm).
• Active pharmacist licensure in MO and/or IL is required; other state licenses may apply.
• Experience supervising technicians or interns is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Verify and dispense medications; verify orders and resolve discrepancies.
• Provide clinical consultation and promote safe, cost-effective pharmacotherapy.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians/interns and precept students/residents.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
