Job summary

SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital – St. Charles is seeking a PRN Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy team on site. Under the supervision of a pharmacist, you’ll assist with transcription, storage, preparation, dispensing, and delivery of medications in a fast-paced setting.

This entry-level role requires a High School Diploma/GED and is open to applicants without prior experience. The schedule includes every other weekend, with shifts 7:00am-3:30pm or 1:00pm-11:30pm, and no on-call duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (licensing).
• No prior experience required.
• Willing to obtain multiple state licenses as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assists in transcription, storage, preparation, dispensing and delivery of medications.
• Distributes medications and ensures proper use of automation to keep in-date stock.
• Supports inventory management, receipts, storage, labeling and security.
• Maintains documentation and adheres to HIPAA and regulatory standards.
