Job summary

RTX is seeking a results-driven Senior Financial Analyst to join our Tucson-based finance team. You will lead quarterly EAC processes, prepare forecasts, and monitor costs while ensuring compliance with EVM policies.

Collaboration with Operations Managers, Material Program Managers, Control Account Managers, and Program Finance is essential. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, with strong Excel skills; U.S.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead quarterly EAC processes, including gathering inputs, preparing presentations, variance analysis, and risk assessment.
• Prepare financial forecasts, LREs, monitor actual costs, and explain variances to plans.
• Ensure adherence to EVM policies for programs and project updates.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analyses as needed.
• Collaborate with Operations Managers, Material Program Managers, Control Account Managers, and Program Finance teams.
• Report Earned Value (EV) and perform EV analysis against budget baseline and schedule.

What You Will Do

You Must Have

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years experience.
• Experience with the Microsoft Office Tool Suite.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

We Prefer

• Experience using Microsoft Office suite with advanced Excel skills.
• Working knowledge of Power Query.
• Ability to develop process improvements and meet critical deadlines.
• Demonstrated thorough critical thinking skills.

• The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD.

• Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
