Job summary

Public Consulting Group is seeking a Pre-ETS Instructor for Clinton County, IN to deliver direct instruction to students in communication, life skills, and pre-employment skills. The instructor collaborates with a consultant to identify and build on each student's strengths, interests, and abilities to develop competitive employment skills during work experiences.

Onsite role following the school calendar (180-185 days) with potential summer opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching or tutoring students in related areas.
• Ability to identify student strengths, interests, and needs.
• Familiarity with employability skills and workplace expectations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct instruction in communication, life skills, and pre-employment skills.
• Assess student progress and set goals with input from the student.
• Develop portfolios with certificates, letters of recommendation, and samples.
• Coordinate with a consultant and ensure curriculum fidelity and adaptations as needed.
• Maintain accurate attendance and document progress at both classroom and work-site.
