Job summary

Public Consulting Group is seeking an on-site Instructor to work with students in Indiana. You will assess learning strengths, develop employment-focused goals, and deliver direct instruction in communication, life skills, and pre-employment skills.

You will guide students to build competitive, marketable skills during work experiences, maintain records, and coordinate monthly updates with consultants and site supervisors.

Qualifications

• Assess student learning strengths and areas of development.
• Instruct students on employability skills such as communication, technology, problem solving, teamwork, and job search.
• Assist student in training about public transportation and access to transportation.
• Maintain accurate and complete files for each student.

Responsibilities

• Assess learning strengths and develop goals and outcomes with student input.
• Instruct students on employability skills including communication, technology, problem solving, and interview skills.
• Assist student in developing a portfolio with certificates, letters of recommendation, etc.
• Monitor and record attendance and progress, and communicate with consultants as needed.
