Job summary

Public Consulting Group in North Newton, IN is seeking a Pre-ETS Instructor to deliver direct instruction in communication, life skills, and pre-employment skills. The instructor works with a consultant to identify student strengths and develop employment-related goals.

Onsite position with 180–185 school days, potential summer opportunities, compensation $18–$20 per hour plus benefits. The role requires dedication to student progress, attendance tracking, and collaboration with the work site

Qualifications

• Experience delivering instruction to students in life and employability skills.
• Ability to assess learning strengths and set goals with input from students.
• Ability to use adaptive teaching methods to meet individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Assess student strengths and develop goals/outcomes.
• Instruct employability skills: communication, interviewing, resume writing.
• Help students build a portfolio with certificates and recommendations.
• Monitor attendance and progress in classroom and work site.
• Provide transportation training and coordinate with consultants.
