Based in or near the Humble/Houston, TX area, you will collaborate with GE engineering and clients to ensure safe, compliant operations. The position emphasizes 12-hour onsite days, potential 24/7 support, and collaboration with field teams.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of field experience with power transformers or related high voltage equipment.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time.

Aufgaben

• Perform on-site commissioning for transformer installations, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Assist team leaders with on-site resources and subcontracted services.
• Attend daily tailboards and report EHS/HSE concerns.
• Operate vacuum processing rigs and related equipment during commissioning.
• Support development of standard procedures for transformer installation and maintenance.
• Prepare technical documents and participate in inspection criteria development with customers.
