Job summary

Manifest Solutions is seeking a Distribution Dispatcher for an onsite role in Gahanna, OH. You will track crew locations, dispatch personnel for outages and emergencies, and authorize energizing/restoration of distribution facilities.

The position requires an associate degree in electrical/electronic tech or a BS in any field (or equivalent) and/or 2 years in technical customer support; rotating shifts and high call-out availability are expected.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electrical or electronic technology or Bachelor of Science in any field or equivalent education and/or experience, or High School Diploma with 2 years of experience with technical customer support and service, including successful multi-tasking and handling of multiple programs/screens.
• Rotating shift work required.
• Must maintain a high availability for call-out response.
• Must live within or relocate to within 30 minutes of the reporting location.
• Ability to work under pressure during critical system conditions and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Track crew locations and ongoing work on the distribution system.
• Dispatch service personnel to respond to outage and emergency situations.
• Authorize the energizing and restoration of distribution facilities.
• Maintain accurate outage records.
• Maintain accurate records of abnormal and defective equipment for distribution facilities.
