Job summary

CAEtech is seeking a Power BI Analyst - Manufacturing Analytics for a full-time contract position supporting manufacturing operations in Beltsville, Maryland. The analyst will design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and data solutions to help plant leadership analyze information and make data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on Power BI experience.
• Experience building dashboards from scratch.
• Ability to translate stakeholder requirements into reporting solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports and visualizations.
• Develop dashboards from scratch based on operational and stakeholder requirements.
• Build and manage datasets using multiple data sources, including ERP systems and spreadsheets.
• Collaborate with plant management and department leaders to understand business and reporting requirements.
• Translate stakeholder needs into functional dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Develop automated reporting solutions that reduce manual reporting activities.
• Maintain and improve existing Power BI dashboards.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity and consistency across reporting platforms.
• Troubleshoot data-quality and reporting issues.
• Document reporting processes, data definitions and dashboard functionality.
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes through data analysis and visualization.
