Job summary

Moran Towing Corporation seeks a Port Engineer to ensure vessel operational readiness and reliability for PALNG operations in Port Arthur. The role supports Captains and Engineers, coordinating preventive maintenance, repairs, and regulatory compliance.

Travel and after-hours availability are required; normal hours are on-site during business days. The successful candidate will manage engineering records, spares, and vendor performance while supporting dry-docking and major repairs to keep the

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering or equivalent; five+ years of relevant marine engineering experience preferred.
USCG engineering license or equivalent credentials/experience; TWIC.
Ability to travel and respond outside normal hours as needed.

Responsibilities

Maintain vessels and shoreside assets for reliability and readiness.
Coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs with Captain, Engineers, and General Manager.
Support dry-dock planning, vessel repairs, and capital projects.
Ensure regulatory compliance (USCG, ABS/class) and safety.
Manage spares, vendors, and engineering records.
