Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 5+ years in plumbing/maintenance.
• Journeyman Plumbing license and Backflow Prevention certificate are required.
• Safety training (PPE, lockout/tagout) and ability to obtain Backflow Certification within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, replace and maintain plumbing and fixtures (sinks, toilets, drains, etc).
• Repair and maintain water heaters and related safety devices.
• Cut openings and install pipes and fittings; thread and bend piping as needed.
• Assemble valves, pipefittings and pipes from metals.
• Perform backflow testing and routine maintenance.
• Coordinate with other trades and support staff; respond to emergencies.
• Maintain safety practices and assist CMMS and other departments.
